When we receive notification of your purchase, we will contact you regarding the programming of your device and for authority to activate the SIM card in your name. This means your falls detector watch will be ready to turn on and use when you receive your parcel.

Your Safe Life falls detection watch will arrive programmed with an active SIM card in your name with $66 credit on a 365-day Telstra managed SIM with unlimited emergency SMS & Voice enabled, acceptable use policy applies.

After 365 days, your plan will expire and you will have to contact us to re-apply more funds. After the first year the cost will be $66* annually.

You are also welcome to provide your own SIM card.

Functions and Basic Settings

Operating the Falls Detection Watch is straightforward, designed with simplicity in mind for seniors and isolated workers.

Navigating the Watch

When the watch is turned on, swipe left or right to access all available functions, such as:

• Contacts
• Watch Faces
• Heart Rate Monitoring
• Step Tracking
• Alarm
• Settings

On the home screen, you can view the time, date, and battery status.

Making a Phone Call

1. Access Contacts: Swipe right to enter the Contacts interface.
2. Select Contact: Choose the person you wish to call.
3. Initiate Call: The watch will dial the selected contact.

Step Tracking

1. Open Steps Interface: Continue swiping right to access the Steps function.
2. Automatic Counting: Step counting is enabled by default and runs all day.
3. View Data: Check your distance walked and calories burned.

Heart Rate Measurement

1. Wear Correctly: Ensure the watch is worn on your wrist securely.
2. Start Measurement: Tap on the Heart Rate icon.
3. Read Results: After a few seconds, your heart rate in BPM will display on the screen.

Activating an SOS Alarm

1. Press and Hold: Hold the SOS button for 3 seconds.
2. Confirmation: The device vibrates and displays the SOS alarm status.
3. Cancel if Needed: You have approximately 10 seconds to cancel the alarm if it was activated accidentally.

Blood Oxygen Monitoring

1. Wear Securely: Make sure the watch fits snugly on your wrist.
2. Access Function: Tap the Blood Oxygen icon.
3. View Percentage: After a few moments, your blood oxygen saturation percentage will appear.

Call Sequence:

• If the first emergency contact doesn’t answer, the watch will attempt the second contact after a 10-second delay.
• This process continues through up to 10 pre-programmed contacts.
• Between calls, you can stop the sequence by pressing the SOS button.

Notes on Voicemail:

• Disable Voicemail: Emergency contacts are advised to turn off voicemail to prevent delays.
• Safeguards:
  • The wearer can end the call sequence by pressing the SOS button.
  • Emergency contacts can call back if disconnected, but the watch may already be dialling the next contact.

Fall Alarm

The watch can automatically detect falls.

• Automatic Detection: When a fall is detected, a warning message is displayed.
• Cancel False Alarms: Activities like sports or sitting abruptly may trigger the alarm; you can cancel it by tapping Cancel.
• Emergency Contacts: If not cancelled, the watch will alert emergency contacts by a fall alarm SMS.

Important: While the fall detection is highly accurate, it may not detect every fall. In any emergency, if able, it’s recommended to press the SOS button.
